"Engineering nerds?" (Pitchfork) who write songs that are "incontrovertibly fun." (Yahoo Music) Formed somewhere in New York City in 2006, their debut LP Ghost Types was released in April 2007 to acclaim from a host of tastemakers including Paste Magazine, popmatters, and The Deli Magazine, earning the perilous tag of "a band to watch" (The L Magazine). Lyrically obsessed with the pitfalls of growing up, the band illustrates their stories with analog synth intricacy, psych-influenced harmony and a healthy dose of 90s college-radio indie. The are currently finishing recording the follow-up to ghost types and will be on tour in the US this spring with several appearances as SXSW 2010.
